Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say,“I will take revenge;I will pay them back," says the Lord. Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink .In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.
Have you ever thought about ways to get back at someone for doing something wrong to you or your family? In life, people will say or do things to us to make us angry. The Bible says it’s okay to be angry, but to sin not. Sometimes anger can lead to revenge. “An eye for an eye,” or “A tooth for a tooth." If someone does something bad to me I’m going to do something bad to them. These are some of the things we often say. But vengeance is the Lords! The Lord will repay our enemies, for treating us wrong. We don’t have to do anything but continue to love and treat them right! So do good to them who do you wrong and love in spite of.
...for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength (and stronghold).
Have you ever felt down? Depressed? Lonely? Or even tired? And it seems like the more you thought about your situation, the worst you felt? God tells us to think on those things that are lovely, honest, and of good report (Philippians 4:8). Even if life is getting the best of you, think on things that are good and he’ll turn your situation around. God won’t put more on us than we can bear. If we trust and depend on him, He promises to carry the load. Think of all the things God has done for you. Simply waking up this morning or keeping you safe as you slept... isn’t that enough to be happy? And when God is the source of your joy, NO ONE can take that from you.
I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me (Philippians 4:13)
I think I can! I think I can! I think I can! How many of us have said these three words before? Whether it is before a big test? Or even a big event? All of us have said this one time or another in our lives. But what we really should be saying is I know I can! I know I can! I know I can!! With God all things are possible (Mark 10:27). It doesn’t matter how big or small, He can help us conquer anything. The key to God’s help is faith. Faith is the substance of thing hoped for the evidence of things not seen. So even if you can’t see it, or it doesn’t seem like it can be done, with FAITH it can. All we need is God’s strength, and we can overcome all things!
What is more pleasing to the Lord:your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice...(1 Samuel 15:22 NLT)
Obey your father and mother! Obey your elders! Obey your teachers! How many times have we heard these sayings? I can bet a zillion times. But how many times have we actually obeyed? I can bet a lot less than a zillion times. God says when we obey we’ll live longer on Earth, and we’ll have a better life too. Who doesn’t want that? (I know we do). Sometimes it can be hard to obey when you think your parents, elders, or teachers are wrong. But just like God, they all want the best for us. Think about a time God told you to do something…now in the end did everything turn out right? I know for a fact it did. It is better to obey now, than to sacrifice those things we hold so dear, later...like your life! So just OBEY!

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. (Philippians 3:13 New Living Translation)
When we take the time to look back on our past, we often lose faith. We think about all the mistakes, failures--even the mishaps that have happened in our lives. However, when we keep our eyes on the Finish Line (JESUS), we can overcome any obstacle or challenge that comes our way, and in the end--WE WIN against the enemy!!!
So continue to look toward Jesus, strive to do what's right in his sight, complete the course and remember...DON'T LOOK BACK!!!!!!
Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. (John 14:1 New Living Translation)
What is life without stress? Whether it's stressing over school, family---finances..WE ALL STRESS! But the question is how do we cope with our stress? The Bible says if we believe and put our complete trust in God and His son, Jesus, we won't be troubled (stressed). "Let go and Let God!!!" Whatever situation you may be going through, give it over to God and have faith that he'll work things out. God understands our problems and he is willing and able to bring us out. He has a plan for us. So don't stress about tomorrow, today or even the next day. Give your worries to God!
